Back when I was a little youth. I hung out at my Grandmas Beuty Salon Shop.. I would always beg her for a Jerry Curl like Michael Jackson. So, to kill time, I would read all the Jet Magazines I could get my hands on. Whatever was Trending that time made the front cover. Any African American artist that was poppin at that time made the front section.. “Marvin Gaye gets shot” front section. “Teddy Pendergrass paralyzed from the waist down” front section.
