A lifetime without Music

Top 3 Jazz Drummer(Art Blakley)

My life without music? My first thought would be I’d go insane but that would be a disrespect for the people with no hearing at all. They’re still moving through life with no sound, but they rely on their enhanced senses, like Daredevil, to motivate their minds to carry on. Me, on the other hand, I need that sound, that beat of the drum, that pulse from a baseline. If I had a life without music I would have to rely on the sounds of mother nature. The sweet harmonies of the birds, whistleling of the wind, the pitter patter of the rain drops. I can even detect the sound of the Sunrays. You listen carefully. You CAN detect that sound. But this planet wasn’t created for the purpose of life without sound. Sound WAS created from mother nature and the elements of the human struggle. I listen to so much music that if born in the early stages of this planet, I’d create something musically. My ancestors in Africa, who then was kidnapped and brought here to the states, created a sound. Be it African rhythms or Blues, Jazz, Rock, and soul, all inspired from mother nature or life experiences. Be it from animals or the elements of the earth, the struggles of human life. The pain from life as an African-American slave in the Pamper wearing era of the United States. Psychologically, and physically different gengoras of music was formed. I would probably be a dope painter like a Bob Ross. With no sound to distract me, my art game would be a knockout. I would add another imagination about my pen game, but thinking about it now, I would need to here a soundtrack to inspire me to write that interesting line. ( I still have a very, very long way to go regarding the pen game) But life without music wouldn’t be the end of my world, I would just have to find other avenues to make life interesting, everyone is not built that way though, like the old saying goes ” Music Calmes The Savage Beast”
